Explore Cliffs of Berkovic
Possible experience for your level: 105,000,000 Exploration designer: Naima
1 - Demolish the dragon (Charm water spirit b4 fight)
2 - Hinder the Hook Horrors
3 - Talk to the Toad (near hydras, need a stone key, go through gate between two ice rooms)
4 - Thrash Tharad
5 - Break the seals (Unlock and open wall)
6 - Best Berkovic
7 - Retrieve the legendary gem (Gem od Souls)
MUST have a mage
Berkovic is a rather easy zone to learn and run. The main item of interest is the
Gem of Souls. The GOS is needed to cast the resurrection spell. Beside from the GOS,
the Dagger of Venom also loads here. It's a nifty little weapon for newbies. Both
items are locatable.
The zone doesn't repop with people inside, and keys aren't slippery.
In addition, keys can be retrieved in any order.
To start, fly Berkovic.
1. White dragon (a key of water) - from @, 3w, u, all-N. Dragon wanders in this NPK
area. Trap or shield him in first. His breath can hurt so set a high wimpy number.
Loads white scales sometimes. Can charm spirits nearby
2. Wind Spirit (a key of wind) - all s, d, 2e, d, 2n, e, n, e, n, 2e(illus) , s, 2e,
n, follow path w. More than one spirit so look for one with key. Two keys will
load sometimes, get both so you can lock in.
3. Fire Spirit (a key of fire) - on same path as wind spirits
4. Roper (a warm brass key) - all n, u (illusionary) Atop the Earthen Mound, 2n, e,
search, e, 4d, pick/open door n, n, 3e. Shield room and fear out any other mobs.
5. Tharad (a key of earth) - 3w, s, 4u, s, e (1e is altar), s, e, s, w, unl/open door
w (using Roper's brass key), w
6. Berkovic - 2e, n, 3w, 2n, 2u, 4x unl/open wall s. Trap room n of Berkovic and lure
him there. His sanc is disspellable. His key opens the chest which has a small
treasure. He loads Gem of souls
If u slip in oil, u end up in Musty Tunnel, once u have gone all east / north...
there' is illusion north that leads back to normal part of zone
